Web applications like Salesforce, Google Apps, and many others, are reshaping business technology by moving servers and infrastructure outside the business itself - eliminating system management tasks. And with anytime/anywhere access, business users can now be productive from nearly any location with Internet access. But with increased accessibility comes growing risk. Password-based authentication simply isn't secure. The news is filled with stories of passwords being stolen, phishing attacks that harvest passwords, and breaches due to password theft or problems.
