SHRLIBRGNSIZE and the Effect on 31-Bit JVM Storage Needs

SHRLIBRGNSIZE is a parameter found in BPXPRMxx that indicates how much of every dubbed address space's private region to hold aside in reserve. The shared library region is intended to hold .So files (i.e. programs or executables) that are used by a large number of address spaces in the z/OS image. This area is like LPALIB, but is for shared objects that are loaded by applications where the file is marked with the +l extended attribute.
