Simulation Effects on E-Business Transformations

Renovation business is a key aspect of electronic commerce and a high level strategy for managing change which cannot usually be handled through continuous improvement methods and organizational restructuring. Process modeling and evaluating different scenarios for improvement are generally the factors responsible for reengineering business processes. In this paper, simulation of business processes is studied as a tool to derive new knowledge about the current business processes, such as additional in-depth understanding of how the process is performed and identifying sources problems observed during the execution process.
