Slot Antenna for Dual Band Wireless Application with Interdigital Feed Line
Microstrip patch antenna has been attractive at communications system because of some benefit such as low profile, low cost, and light weight and easy to fabricate. Narrow bandwidth is the main drawback of the patch antenna and for improving this weakness many methods have been presented such as slot techniques. Rectangular slot antenna is conventional antenna for Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) applications and loop parasitic element effect is investigated in this antenna. It should be notice that 3.3-3.8GHz use for WiMAX application and IMT advanced system or Fourth Generation (4G) mobile communication system in the range of 3.4-4.2GHz.
