Structural Study and Review Paper of Framework for Spectrum Allocation with Interference in Cognitive Radio Networks

In this paper, the authors discuss the scenario of cognitive radio networks and have given a overview of the emerging IEEE 802.22 standard, based on dynamic spectrum access model, providing opportunities for broadband access in rural area and remote communities. In urban areas, cognitive radios are constrained to a short ranges and many broadband alternatives already exist. They discuss the main design challenges and have also highlighted the new spectrum model adopted in 802.22 standard.
