This paper is a report of a study by the Accenture Institute for Public Service Value that examined the provision of consumer information on health care in six countries - the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Germany and New Zealand. The purpose of the study was to identify how well citizens are supported by information when they make choices about their use of the health care services in their respective countries. The study considered information provision to consumers in five important areas of health care: access, coverage, cost to patient, quality of care and wellness.
