Performance enhancements in a Single-Input Multiple-Output (SIMO) Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system have been obtained by eliminating the Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI) and improve the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) when the communication channel is dispersive. The main purpose for using the subspace methods is to reduce the Minimum Noise Subspace (MNS) in a noise subspace where the authors need in a parallel structure from a combination of pair system outputs that form a Properly Connected Sequence (PCS). By using the MUltiple SIgnal Classification (MUSIC) concepts in subspace methods they can also relate the relationship between the channel impulse responses and the noise subspace associated with a covariance matrix of the system output.
