SULMA: A Secure Ultra Light-Weight Mutual Authentication Protocol for Lowcost RFID Tags

Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) is an emerging technology. It is the next generation of an optical barcode with several major advantages over an optical barcode since a line of sight between the reader and the barcode is not needed, and several tags can be read simultaneously. RFID technology is rapidly finding more diversified applications in today's marketplace. For example, RFID technology is now being used for automatic tariff payment in public transport, animal identification and tracking, automated manufacturing, and logistical control for automatic object identification since every object can be identified by a unique identification tag number.
