The most important factors that affect the performance of the nodes present in a Heterogeneous Computing System (HCS) are the Energy and Completion time. The problem of achieving these two performance factor is a major issue, various technique have been emerged to accomplish these aspect. A brief overview of some of the most common techniques, and a comparison between them comprise this literature review. It discusses about the various power reducing techniques that minimizes the power consumption on various Environment one such thing is the Dynamic Voltage Scaling technique (DVS) which is used to dynamically increase or decrease the voltage of the component present in the system and also various algorithms that reduce the completion time of the task is been presented.
