When starting a transformation, many projects focus on the Functional and Technical areas. However, do not underestimate the PEOPLE side of the project. One of the most effective tools for addressing the people issues involves building and mentoring a robust Organizational Change Team which includes representation from all key stakeholder communities. Robust OCM Change Teams are not easy to build or mentor, but they are one key to achieving success and mitigating risk during the change that comes with any transformation. This paper explores the characteristics and activities of OCM Change Teams throughout the project.
