Leadership is a hot topic and of critical importance in today's economy. Bennis (1988) suggests that leaders learn best from leading in through adversity. They create the climate of the organization and are responsible for bringing about change within the organization. Leaders should "Challenge the process" in order to achieve extra ordinary results (Kouzes and Posner, 2002) and improve employees' perceived organizational support. Leaders should not confirm to the status quo in the current environment but must be innovative, willing to take risks, and challenge assumptions about the way things have always been done which involves "Challenging the process".
