Executive Summary

E-government services requires government organizations to implement privacy polices and solutions. This is required to protect individuals from others getting access to information while online services try to increase responding to the needs of online government services. Research by Abdelmounaam, et al. (2002) focuses on how to provide access to services by developing a web access model that accesses multiple applications and database but enforcing privacy rules for obtaining and retrieving information requires more research. Another study by Schuele (2005) describes the importance of privacy policy statements on websites from survey data from 100 municipal websites.
