The Realization of Full Duplex Relay and Sum Rate Analysis in Multiuser MIMO Relay Channel

Executive Summary

In recent years, relay transmission techniques have drawn one's attention since wireless communication systems seriously need to extend cell coverage and enhance cell capacity. The relay system is composed of the Base Station (BS), the Relay Station (RS) and Mobile Stations (MS's), where four link cases (BS-MS, BS-RS, RS-MS, RS-RS) may exist. They are not to interfere with each other by assignment of different frequency bands or time slots. However, this kind of Half-Duplex Relay (HDR) splits up wireless channel resources, which results in the reduced capacity of the whole system.
