Has one heard themselves or others say this when someone suggests a new technique to help solve a problem? Most of them have a set of tricks and techniques from which they draw when starting a new project. Over time one might overlook newer techniques because the old toolkit works just fine. Sometimes one actively avoids new techniques because the initial foray leaves the person daunted by the steep learning curve to mastery. For the author, the PRX functions and the SAS hash object fell into this category.
