The concept of business process is at the convergence of several trends: BPR, certification ISO 9000, large package implementation (CRM, SCM), technologies (BPM, SOA, EAI, B2B), operational organization ("Horizontal organization, extended enterprise"). Today many companies are starting projects to map their processes with the goal of improving them.
