Metasearching is the process of combining search results of different search systems into a single set of ranked results which, in turn, is expected to be better than the results of the best of the participating search systems. User satisfaction is obviously the most important factor in measuring the quality of search results. Therefore, it is quite logical that the user feedback is taken into account to improve the quality of metasearching. But, the user feedback is a costly affair in terms of the time taken. Therefore, the authors propose a metasearch system that models user feedback based metasearching.
