Executive Summary

User feedback is a new direction employed to assist users in building data integration systems and to improve their quality. The authors claim that the first step to the efficient data quality improvement in a data integration system is the consistency of user's expectations feedback because user(s) can have multiple expectations of the quality of the value and the content of the query results at the same time. Therefore, in this paper, they propose an approach that allows one to detect user's expectations quality problems, especially inconsistency, and so their improvement before their use for determining the data quality issues at the data sources in the second step.
