Using Cloud Standards for Interoperability of Cloud Frameworks
Today's need for Open Frameworks, especially in the Cloud community, demands for standards. These standards are needed to ensure portability, interoperability and integration of Cloud sites. This technical paper describes how an emerging Cloud standard, the Open Cloud Computing Interface, can be used integrate two major Cloud Frameworks (SLA@SOI and RESERVOIR). Both of the Clouds Frameworks are developed with a focus on elasticity. Within the project different management layers are used to control the life-cycle of the Cloud Services. Still both frameworks can inter-operate by using the Open Cloud Computing Interface API.
