Are you new to the Internet phone industry, otherwise called VoIP? If you are this article is for you. Many people are familiar with the ability to conduct meeting over the Internet. VoIP is similar to this process although it also uses your telephone. The difference is that you connect your telephone to a modem as opposed to the traditional wall mounted jack. If you do not have a modem, you can either purchase one or request one from your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Set up is relatively simple: you plug the VoIP modem into your current modem and computer and the phone into the VoIP modem.
