Wavelet Processing of Human Iris for Accurate Recognition System
Use of Human Iris for automatic person identification is one of the many biometric based recognition techniques that have gained established applications, particularly for security reasons. An accurate biometric based recognition system with Human Iris and for such applications using wireless communications is reported in this paper. Use of partial iris, where the eye may not be fully open naturally or where data volume is to be reduced is attractive requirement for such system. Using compression techniques such as SVD or DCT, data to be stored or transferred through low rate networks may be further drastically reduced and still achieving accurate recognition of the person concerned.
