Web-Based Benchmark for Keystroke Dynamics Biometric Systems: A Statistical Analysis

Keystroke dynamics allows users to be recognized based on their way of typing on a keyboard. This is a behavioral modality which has been first experimented in the eighties. It is always an interesting subject of research, as it is a low cost two factors authentication approach. Most consequent keystroke dynamics studies have been evaluated on datasets where users typed the same fixed string, while very few of them used different strings for each user. For this paper, the authors want to be placed in the following context. They want to use a web-based application with an authentication system based on static keystroke dynamics.
