Web-Based Drawing Board System Equipped With Dynamic Figure Reproduction
A study of a Web-based multiuser drawing platform is presented. The discussed system employs a simple Web database for the storage and retrieval of coordinate information pertaining to minute segments of figures and character-based annotations, created using an integrated multiuser drawing board. The drawing board consists of a background layer and a transparent drawing layer. Various figures may be rendered within the background layer, including representations of sporting grounds, e.g., a football field, maps, blackboards, photographs, or plain white sheets of paper. Several algorithms, and their applicability to a Web-based learning system, are discussed.
