In this paper, the authors built a simulation model based on a Wireless Metropolitan Area Network (WMAN) Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) receiver measurement characteristics including Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) - Bit Error Rate (BER) & Sensitivity. It is shown that WMAN OFDM measures downlink BER and Packet Error Rate (PER) measurement on AWGN channel and downlink receiver sensitivity. For this purpose they can design using different modulations such as BPSK, QPSK and QAM (Both 16 and 64) to find out the best performance of downlink receiver design for WMAN OFDM. The noise channel AWGN, FFT and IFFT, and Adaptive modulation is used for the whole simulation procedure. The performance has been concluded based on BER and PER output through ADS Simulation.
