CheckPal was developed by a CPA with over 10 years of restaurant experience. It is the only way to quickly and accurately split the items on a restaurant check amongst the individuals sharing a common check using patent pending technology. CheckPal has 2 ways to split a check: Quick or Accurate. Using the quick method simply divides the check total by the number of individuals sharing the check. However, using the accurate method allows you to quickly assign each item on the check to the person who actually purchased it. Therefore, each individual sharing the check will only pay for what they purchased. Tax and tip amounts will also be accurately assigned no matter which method you choose. In addition to splitting the check, CheckPal can also handle gift certificates calculations whether its on a before tax or after tax basis.
