Copyright registration is not expensive or difficult.The developer, Michael E. Byczek, is a licensed Illinois attorney and Apple certified system administrator. His primary interest is intellectual property (patent, trademark, and copyright).It only costs $35 to submit an application to the U.S. Copyright Office. Registration is not required, but the primary benefit is federal protection against infringement.Statutes are current as of 9/27/2010 based upon The Office of the Law Revision Counsel (LRC) classification tables.
