eScl 1.1 (Mobile)

The eTree Simple Compression Library (eScl) is a collection of very simple data compression services. It is intended to provide reasonable loss-less compression on various binary and ASCII data types while fitting in the relatively small memory footprint of the PalmOS. The eScl library also sacrifices some compression efficiency for speed. PalmOS based PDA users expect very fast response times from their devices. For 'conduits', network, and wireless applications there is a Windows DLL version of eScl. No Macintosh version is available at this time.
