GasPipeline 1.1 (iOS)

GasPipeline is an application that allows users to easily and quickly simulate the steady state operation of a gas pipeline section with very accurate results, from a gas source (e.g. a compressor station discharge, an interconnection with another gas pipeline or even a gas producing plant) to a delivery point (e.g. a downstream compressor station, a city-gate or a interconnection with another gas pipeline). Uses Colebrook and AGA equations for friction factor and Redlich-Kwong and Dranchuck, Purvis and Robinson for compressibility factor calculations. Includes Joule-Thompson effect for a better gas temperature profile evaluation.It produces a detailed report with all the important variables and gas properties such as pressures, temperatures, flow, compressibility factor and others. It includes temperature and pressure profiles. In conjunction with Gas Compressor application, also produced by At Work Rio Solutions LTDA and available at App Store, may even help users to quickly design gas pipeline different configurations (Diameters x Compression Station Quantity x Compressor Station Spacing) of a new gas pipeline project.
