The mDBA app allows you to monitor and manage Oracle databases. This app allows you to connect to any of your existing Oracle databases and make use of the following features, all in real time: View database details (uptime, version etc) View SGA details View graphical real-time tablespace storage View graphical real-time performance data (Cache Hit ratios etc) View database options Run any sql against your database (DML, DDL, DCL or TCL) If you are running the Oracle e-Business Suite, you also have access to the following features: View e-Business Suite Version info View all Tier information View module patch levels View patches applied View Concurrent Manager details View Running Concurrent Jobs View Users currently logged in This app uses the ssh (Secure Shell) protocol to connect to your server. To allow this app to work you will need to connect to a user who has access to the v$ views (i.e. grant the dba role to the required user). As this app uses ssh, you will either need to connect to a wireless network within your site, connect to a VPN enabled network or setup firewall rules to allow you through on the relevant ssh port. This app does not make any invasive changes to your database, with the exception of the SQL Entry screen, where you can do whatever you like (subject to your user permissions!).
