Microsoft Mail Update: Troubleshoot Dirsync Problems Update (Windows)

This information applies to Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. Sometimes you need to reset the directory synchronization (dirsync) sequence numbers when you are troubleshooting Microsoft Mail directory synchronization problems with a Microsoft Exchange 2000 server that is participating as a requestor or as the dirsync server.
