Microsoft Windows 98 Update: Connection Failures for Web Connections Using SGC Update (Windows)

Unable to connect to Web sites using Server Gated Cryptography (SGC)? Some computers may be unable to connect to Web servers using SGC for strong encryption when a secure connection is required. Installing this update will eliminate these connection failures. This update is available in both standard and high (128-bit) encryption. You will select your encryption level from the drop-down box on the License Agreement page. Review the download instructions below, and click Next to proceed. NOTE: The high encryption version of this update is eligible for export from the U.S. to all customers worldwide, except to U.S. embargoed destinations.
