Although My Own Voice comes with a default set of pictures and sounds, it is specifically designed so that care-givers can easily import their own pictures and record their own voices, allowing the program to be tailored according to their specific needs. How to Use My Own VoiceMy Own Voice has a simple and easy to use interface designed to facilitate communication with even the smallest child. My Own Voice comes with several thematic sets of default images. When a set is selected the images are displayed as big, easy to touch buttons. When an image is touched, it expands to fill the screen while an audio recording of the image name is played. My Own Voice is CustomizableUsers are not limited to the images and sounds that come with My Own Voice. The real merit of My Own Voice is how easily it can be personalized. While My Own Voice comes preloaded with basic pictures and sounds to get interaction started, it is easy for caregivers to select their own pictures and create their own sounds. Any picture in the devices photo library can be used. Additional pictures are easily added through iTunes, by saving them from the internet, or by using the built-in camera (if available). Electronic copies of the pictures your children has already learned can also easily be loaded through iTunes. Associated labels can be instantly recorded using the built-in microphone.
