Race your modified Porsche 911 Turbo against three opponents through a European village and countryside (alternating between day and night each time the game is run). The track in this demo is Route Adonf, in France. The full version of Need for Speed: High Stakes will have 18 dream cars. Damage affects both your car's appearance and performance. It also will feature 19 realistic courses in a variety of exotic locales. In this game you can earn money to repair and upgrade your car, and take the ultimate high stakes challenge: lose the race, lose your car. You can also race on both sides of the law, even as you're being tracked by a chopper. The game features night racing, real weather conditions, and traffic, and you can race over the Internet.
