PacPlot is a convenient GPS tracking and saving tool for the iPhone.What makes PacPlot different is the ability to send GPS waypoints to your free, online PacPlot account. Forget e-mailing yourself the coordinates, this application sends each waypoint with an optional title, directly to your account for future use.Once the waypoint(s) are in your account, you can organize them into projects, map them on Google Maps, edit and add new ones, and export them in XML and KML formats.To use the application, simply register your free account at PacPlot.com and enter your username and password into the application settings. Click the refresh button to gather your current location data.Note: While gathering your current GPS position, this application only updates your coordinates if they are more accurate than the last received set. This makes it very convenient for saving and sending since you don't have to constantly be watching/hoping for accurate data.Accuracy Note: Please note that PacPlot is designed to be used primarily with GPS capable devices. Non-GPS capable devices will most likely experience much less accurate data.
