29 pages, black/white The first story in this issue of Pia Zawa is The Arms Dealer, where our heroine meets the cynic Tommy Gun for the first time. Aided by an early version of internet-dating, he tracks someone he imagines being his big love and soul mate a certain gunslinging lady from The Small Town By The Sea. Youll also get to read The Swan, an homage to the superhero genre. This was the first Pia Zawa published, in an anthology called Mix in 1990. I think Haakon W. Isachsen, Pias editor, found the story too surreal in comparison with the other stories which were going to run in X9-spesial the comics home for several years. As a bonus, Ive included a couple of samples from my upcoming comic Wolfs Blues.
