Successful stock option traders anticipate option price movements through the examination of many factors. Significant option price changes occur with small and even no changes in the underlying stock price. PitBoss Plus uses your actual stock data to illustrate the important relationships among these factors. The instant numerical feedback from the simulator develops your intuitive understanding of their influence of the factors. The graphing displays of PitBoss Plus provide a comprehensive visual relationship between your selected parameters and their changing values. PitBoss is available in 3 editions: PitBoss Lite (Free), PitBoss ($1.99), and PitBoss Plus ($4.99) VISUALIZATION PitBoss provides 3 ways to view simulated results: 1. Single point: (all editions) Computed Option Value or Imputed Stock Volatility is computed on the basis of the other input variables. 2. Table: (PitBoss and Plus editions) Computed or imputed values (dependent variable) for 2 independent variables are displayed as a text table. The efficient interface easily allows selection of which variables are the dependent and independent variables. You control the range of the independent variables. 3. Graph: (PitBoss Plus edition only) Computed or imputed values (dependent variable) for 2 independent variables are displayed as an annotated graph. The efficient interface easily allows selection of which variables are the dependent and independent variables. You control the range of the independent variables. DATA INPUT PitBoss provides 3 ways to enter data: 1. Standard iPhone keyboard: (all editions) Tapping the 'X' in the data field erases the data field's current value and causes display of the keyboard entry overlay. Tapping in the data field (other than on the 'X') opens the keyboard entry overlay, while preserving the current value in the data field for editing. Tap a numerical key sequence to enter that field's desired data value. On exit (tap 'Done'), the currently selected Simulation Mode Output Field is updated. 2. "Bumping": (PitBoss and Plus editions) This is a simple way to make small changes in a value already entered. Tapping the oval field label, adjacent to its data entry field, causes display of the Bump+ and Bump- tap buttons. Tapping either button bumps the current field value by a preset (indicated) amount, up or down respectively. With each bump, the selected Simulation Mode Output Field is also updated. 3. "Slider": (PitBoss and Plus editions) This is a quick way to continuously vary a variable over a wide range. Tapping the oval field label adjacent to its data entry field twice causes display of the Slider adjustment tool. Dragging the slider control to the left or right continuously replaces the field's starting value with that starting value multiplied by the slider adjustment factor, which allows an adjustment range of 20%. When the slider control is released, the last displayed value becomes the new starting field value, ready for another drag (or tap). With each adjustment of the data entry field, the selected Simulation Mode Output Field is also updated PITBOSS FEATURES * Simulates call and put stock option values from a parametric set of your inputs. * Imputes volatility from the parametric inputs. * Data input and modification is fast and easy with the Bump or Slide data entry controls. * Over 1000 tables and graphs for visualization of relationships and trends * Built-in option expiration dates * Simulates future and past time other than today. * Complete, detailed, built-in help/user guide.
