removeUNIX 2.0 (Mac)
Source: Citizen Strange Software
removeUNIX is a droplet that allows you to drop a file on it to remove the UNIX carriage returns (linefeeds) so that you eliminate a majority of the garbled text when opening a readme or other text file which you got from a UNIX system. The older version that required the searchandreplace osax is no longer supported. removeUNIX now supports file sizes in excess of 32K. This is accomplished by using the readIn AppleMod which is bundled with removeUNIX. The memory allocation for removeUNIX must be larger than the file size you drop on it. You can also drop multiple files on removeUNIX.
