SafeJourney will plot your journey, every step-of-the-way. At key intervals, you'll be asked to "check in" by entering your 4 digit pincode to let the app know you're ok. If, for whatever reason, you don't or can't enter your code, SafeJourney automatically alerts your chosen emergency contact via email or push notification. Meanwhile, friends and family can view a live representation of your journey including the times and locations of all successful and unsuccessful checkins via a private link on the SafeJourney website. However, to make the most out of SafeJourney, have your friends download SafeJourney's sister app "SafeJourney Tracker" (free on the app store). Friends with the SafeJourney Tracker app can receive push notifications throughout your journey.
