Do you struggle to remember to get up and move around often enough?Do you get carried away with work and not notice that you've been sat at your desk for over an hour without taking a break?Do you sit in front of the TV and not notice the evening fly by?If you, like most people take your iPhone everywhere with you then this app can help. This app reminds you to take-a-break every so often. It uses motion detection to be able to tell if you have been stationary for too long. If you get up and move around it can tell and will not remind you.But if you (and your iPhone) stay in one place for too long it will make a noise and pop-up a message to remind you to get up and take a break. When you move it will stop reminding you.You can configure:o How long without moving before it reminds youo How often it checkso How sensitive it is to movement (fine means very sensitive)It also has basic profiles built in for weekends and week (work) days which can be switched on and off.It can also be switched on all the time or completely off if you want to be left alone. How it works:It works by detecting changes in the orientation of the iPhone and uses the GPS. So when you get up and walk around, if it checks during this period it will notice the iPhone has moved. If however it doesn't happen to check while you are taking a break, as long as you don't place the iPhone back almost exactly where it was then it should still notice you have moved. How much movement that is required before it decides you have moved is configurable (Sensitivity setting).Fine => Very small changes in orientation will be noticed as you moving.Course => Larger changes in orientation will be required to count as moving. And if you do place it back exactly where it was you can open the app and just give the iphone a quick shake and this will be counted as you moving. There is also a useful "Test" button on the History page which you can use to calibrate the sensitivity.Just set the sensitivity on the Settings page then press the Test button on the History page. Move the iPhone and press test again to see if it notices.A setting of 3-5 should be about perfect for most situations. For this app to work while running in the background or while your phone is "closed" you need to enable the GPS setting.Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. When you are not intending to use the app it is best to switch the GPS setting to Off and then back on again when you wish to be told to "Take-a-break".Future releases:==========De/Activate the GPS based on the "Profiles". This will reduce the drain on the battery when the app is not supposed to be running.
