Try this completely free & full featured multifile text editor that was created due to lack of user-friendly editors on the market for internal purposes. After thorough testing of the many people on the developers newsgroups and their good feedbacks, we decided to publish this product as a freeware application and as a Dynamic Linked Library (DLL) for use in third party application as any developer see fit. TextEd has the most formatting abilities user may need, ability to send e-mail and ability to be customized. TextEd is limited by memory of computer on which is running. Virtually, it can open over 2 billion files at the same time with contents of 2048 MB of text for each one. Of course, there is no machine in home use that can handle that, so we can say that TextEd has no limits. TextEd is not a replacement for Microsoft Word or other word processors, but it is an excellent replacement for Windows's Notepad. TextEd is a product created in free time with a lot of good will invested.
