The November Sun: A cell phone novel about music, love, and social media. 1.0 (Mobile)

The November Sun is a young adult cell phone novel written by Sebastiano Mereu and published by Creativity Republic. The novel revolves around the lives and romances amongst a group of music and social media loving university students at Kansai Gaidai University, a private university focusing on foreign language studies, in Hirakata, Japan. The novel focuses on four main characters: Hiko, Maki, Yuki, and Yutaro and follows the characters through their daily lives at the university and describes how they proceed in making their music popular through social media. The novel makes many references to popular music, movies, and TV shows. Almost every song of the respective soundtrack is featured in the novel. From August 2010 to January 2011, one new episode of the novel will be released on a weekly basis. The application consists of four channels: Novel, Videos, Author's Tweets, News. The Novel channel displays all episodes of the novel, the video channel shows all the songs from the soundtrack (released between Aug.'10 and Jan.'11), the Twitter channel gives a direct connection to the author, and the News channel keeps readers updated on what's happening around the novel.
