USB PIC Bootloader is a software/firmware combination for full-speed USB PIC microcontollers (PIC18F2550, PIC18F4550, etc) and Mac OS 10.3 or later. Pre-programming the bootloader firmware on the USB PIC microcontollers allows easy firmware updates in the future without special hardware. The firmware on the microcontroller can be updated over USB in the field using a Mac and its built-in CDC drivers (no driver installation necessary).
