Virtual Education Summit 2011 1.2 (Mobile)

The Virtual Education Summit 2011 App supplements traditional paper-based materials and illustrates the potential of educational mobile technology for participants of the 2011 Regional P-12 Summit on Virtual Education. The App includes an agenda, presenter biographies and session descriptions, a section in which to save and email notes, a collection of federally-approved supporting research on virtual education, and a map of the Summit location and surrounding areas.The Regional P-12 Summit on Virtual Education has been devised to assist education leaders in: a. Understanding the landscape of P-12 virtual education in the Northeast;b. Utilizing key, current national research on P-12 virtual education policy and practice;c. Identifying and capitalize on opportunities for cross-state and in-state collaboration; andd. Developing coordinated, leveraged actions to support statewide P-12 virtual education policy and programs for all students.
