The app is designed for all wine lovers, whether you're a casual wine enthusiast or a certified wine fanatic. --- STEP ONE: Describe your meal via a short 4-tab form--- STEP TWO: Get wine recommmendations from a Master Sommelier--- STEP THREE: Pick a wine, drink & eat!To generate your recommendations, you fill out a series of short forms, choosing from shorts lists those terms that describe the meal you'll be eating. When you finish, the application will query our remote server and then display a "cloud" of complementary wine varietals and appelations, each written in a different sized font. The wines in the largest fonts are the best matches for your meals, and those in smaller type are still considered complementary pairings. When you click on a type of wine, you will view a short article on that wine and its food pairing characteristics, written by Master Sommelier Jesse Becker.We believe the algorithms in the app are the most sophisticated ever designed for pairing wine with food. WineToMatch's application is currently capable of over 75 billion recommendations, but it won't be stopping there. We are continually adding wines to our database and improving our recommendations basead on user feedback--all without updates to the application. Other upcoming features include: - A "shortcut" that allow you to choose from commonly entered meals and skip straight to the results - Integration with great wine websites and apps such as Snooth or WineLibrary With this app, you can bring the experience and education of a certified Master Sommerlier with you to the wine shop, gourmet grocery store, supermarket or your favorite neighborhood restaurant.
