In the coming years, the conference table will be a computer, the whiteboard will be a computer, says Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates. He sits down with CNET News.com's Ina Fried to discuss what he sees as the future of tech.

When we saw the first episodes of STARTREK, we got a look of things to be in the future. Later on when the series evolved, we got also a glimp how computers stuff and the lot could be: you talk to them and they answered, widescreens from small to top to bottom with enormous visions. Nowadays we can grasp what the makers of STARTREK were thinking, especially JOHN RODDENBERRY (I hope I spell his name right). So come on guys, let's DO it!
