Google CEO touts always-on computing

Lovely concept but it requires a support capability that doesn't yet exist - an Internet that is totally uninterrupted. It also requires major changes in many laws, and in forced responsibilities on the companies and other organisations providing the end user services.

Will Google pay me compensation because their applications went down and I couldn't complete a contract on time? I doubt it. This is the sort of issue that needs to be fully resolved before that vision can even enter full dream stage, let alone contemplation and implementation.
