Goldis Berhad, the owner of GTower, wanted to create an iconic landmark in Malaysia's property development landscape. They conceived GTower as a holistic working and living concept with 24/7 personalized service, and 'Always ON' availability. After an intense evaluation of solutions from a number of networking vendors, GTower selected 3Com for its network infrastructure. The 3Com solutions deployed at GTower are among the 'greenest' in the market. The network infrastructure comprises two high-end 3Com 7900E core switches, with a 3Com 5500G and a 3Com 4800G as the distribution switches.
