Still in its infancy, 3D TV is forecasted to be the next big revenue generator for the digital television industry. Several broadcasters, service providers and operators, including BSkyB in the UK, and DirectTV and ESPN in the United States have either already launched 3D TV channels or announced dates for the introduction of commercial 3D TV channels in the second half of 2010.
