A Novel Algorithm for Collision Avoidance in Wireless Ad Hoc Networks
When multiple nodes desire to transmit in a network, a set of rules generally known as routing and collision avoidance protocols are needed to avoid collisions and to retransmit lost data. The authors suggest a novel yet efficient technique for AD HOC network management using uniform Latin square matrix. Each entry of Latin Square Matrix is unique in row and column. Entries will be assigned to link between two identified nodes in network for a fixed time interval and hence will be useful to avoid collision by achieving mutual exclusion and thus any collision will be avoided.
