A Novel Approach of Frequency Offset Estimation for OFDM System
Source: International Journal of Recent Technology and Engineering (IJRTE)
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) has recently attracted vast research attention from both academia and industry and has become a part of new emerging standards for broadband wireless access. Synchronization at receiver end represents one of the most challenging issues and plays a major role in physical layer design. This paper presents design and implementation of a channel estimation algorithm which successfully achieves minimization of timing and frequency offsets at receiver end. Also, it has been synthesized and simulated on Virtex 6 device.
