A Review on Security Issues in Wireless Sensor Networks
Source: International Journal of Advanced Research in Computer Science and Software Engineering (IJARCSSE)
Wireless sensor networks are set to become a truly pervasive technology that will affect the people daily lives in important ways. The authors cannot deploy such a critical technology, however, without first addressing the security and privacy research challenges to ensure that it does not turn against those whom it is meant to benefit. Other applications include climate sensing and control in office buildings and home environmental sensing systems for temperature, light, moisture, and motion. WSNs suffer from many constraints, including low computation capability, small memory, limited energy resources, susceptibility to physical capture, and the use of insecure wireless communication channels.
